HellRaisers defeat TYLOO; book playoff spot in Malta

HellRaisers have beaten TYLOO 2-0 in the Group B winners' match to secure a playoff berth at SuperNova CS:GO Malta (16-11 on Dust2 and 16-5 on Mirage).

The best-of-three winners' match between TYLOO and HellRaisers kicked off on Dust2. Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker & company started the game on the CT-side and picked up the pistol round victory. HellRaisers continued their streak by taking two weapon rounds, making it 5-0.

TYLOO got on the scoreboard in the sixth round but they lost the following two rounds to trail 7-1. The Chinese side got back into it by winning a 3vs3 and a 2vs3 in consecutive rounds and went on to finish the half with seven rounds (8-7).

Double kills by Hansel "⁠BnTeT⁠" Ferdinand and Hui "⁠DD⁠" Wu in the second pistol round tied the game at 8-8 and TYLOO took the lead for the first time in the match following two more round victories (10-8). However, HellRaisers secured eight of the next nine rounds, closing out the map 16-11 with a 2vs4 clutch in the 27th round.

TYLOO began Mirage by winning the pistol round on the T-side after Ke "⁠captainMo⁠" Liu clutched a 1vs2. TYLOO's early 3-0 lead didn't last long as HellRaisers tied the game with a three round streak. After losing another round, HellRaisers won eight in a row to lead 11-4 at halftime.

woxic got a triple kill in the second pistol to extend his team's lead to 12-4. Even though HellRaisers lost the third round in the second half, they hit back in the following round to make it 14-5. Double kills by Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov and Kirill "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow in the 21st round sealed the deal as HellRaisers won the map 16-5. With the 2-0 series victory, they have secured their place in the semi-finals.
